How Can We Raise Our 2.3 Billion Dollars of Exports?

Turkey's fresh fruit and vegetable production is approximately 45 million tons, we export about 9% of it.
How can we increase our exports of approximately 2.3 billion dollars?
– To encourage or increase qualified production (good agricultural practices, controlled production, controlled agricultural control, biological control, efficient and equipped greenhouse, etc.)
– Giving incentives to qualified producers
– To provide free and compulsory minimum production management training to producers by the Ministry of Agriculture and to certify it, to prevent unconscious production
– To carry out agricultural spraying strictly controlled, licensed and based on certifications
– Allocate cost-effective land to individuals and institutions with certain conditions in production and export
– Implementing the same inspections on domestic market products as well as inspections of products prepared for export.
– To support innovation with supervision, to control the commitment of health to food and food to health with continuous development, with sanctions
– Developing international agricultural protocols, reaching agreements with countries where there are no protocols
– Developing logistics support to distant countries with relevant stakeholders
– To provide state support per ton (cash, tax reduction, energy…)
- In order for the prices of fresh vegetables and fruits not to experience sharp increases in winter conditions, heating support is provided while the plants are in flower in the December January February period, and as a result, price stability is ensured.
- Matching the norms of countries with high purchasing power with the standards in our country
-To make receivables insurance practices transparent to international buyers, to make it simple bureaucratic as in European standards, and to provide state support in premium payments.
-To increase government support for the increase of A-class enterprises for export, to establish modern and smart enterprises where the cold chain is protected.
- From seeds to seedlings, from production to packaging, from logistics to export, the participation of our state with the participants, workshops with the relevant NGOs
